What You'll Learn:

  • Create a Project using the World Object Template as a base.

  • Creation of shapes in SDF by Patch Editor.
  • Touch object system to run animation directly from Patch editor.
  • Sender and Receiver configuration for project organization.
  • System to identify the touch on compatible objects and Score.
  • Adding a scenario to Plane Tracker.
  • Creating occlusion system.
  • Add a Number Randomization Script by creating a list.
  • Receiving and sending information to the script.
  • Setting the position of each card.
  • Rotating texture through Texture Transform.
  • Compression and texture optimization.
  • Effect debugging before publication.

To fully participate in this workshop, here are the tools you'll need:

Your FB account is used to sign in to Spark AR Studio, and to publish your effects.

Spark AR Studio by Facebook - this is the software used to create effects for Facebook and Instagram

Spark AR Hub - this is where you will upload your effect, view insights and track activity

Spark AR Player for Android and iOS - used to preview your effects in real-time through your phone

A Sketchfab account
